About

Let me share a little about my business and myself. This is my main role, alongside working as a private carer on the Isle of Wight. As a mum of two, being self-employed allows me to balance work and family life while doing what I love.

I offer treatments from a treatment room in a Newport salon and also provide mobile appointments across the island (depending on the service), bringing relaxation and care directly to you. My aim is to offer a calm, unhurried experience where every client feels listened to and well cared for.

My logo has a special family touch. Wanting something unique but unable to invest in a designer at the time, I turned to my dad, who is a tattoo artist, for inspiration. He created the original design, and my brother, a web designer, digitised it for me. Their involvement made it truly personal and one of a kind.

For facial treatments, I use Charlie Locks, a natural and organic skincare range that is free from SLS, parabens, palm oil and microbeads. The products are cruelty-free and meet strict EU standards. I love the range so much that I became an approved stockist, so you can also purchase the products directly from me.

Running my business is a full-time commitment, from responding to messages and bookings to preparing treatments and planning ahead. I mainly offer weekday appointments, with occasional evening or weekend availability when demand allows.

So how did I get into beauty & holistic treatments?

I first qualified in tinting and eyebrow shaping back in 2013 but didn’t pursue it at the time. In 2019, I decided to retrain and that step inspired me to develop my skills further. The beauty and holistic industry is always evolving, and I genuinely love learning new treatments — which is why I now offer such a wide range of services.

As my passion grew, I committed to further training with Jane Bryan Training Academy and The Wellness Academy, completing multiple courses including in-depth Anatomy & Physiology, as well as specialist training such as oncology massage. This involved home study alongside practical exams and case studies. It was challenging at times, but incredibly rewarding.

Swedish massage quickly became one of my most popular treatments, which led me to train further in hot stone and pregnancy massage.

One of my favourite additions to my treatment list is reflexology — even though I’ll admit, I used to hate feet and didn’t like my own feet being touched! After being encouraged (and gently pestered!) by my lovely clients to train in reflexology, I finally gave in… and now I absolutely love both giving and receiving this treatment. It’s gone on to become one of my most popular treatments alongside Swedish massage.

Running my business is a full-time commitment. I’m constantly replying to messages, preparing for the week ahead and continuing to develop my skills. I’m a big believer in ongoing learning and growth — there’s always something new to discover.

I love helping people relax, feel confident and take time for themselves. Supporting clients on their wellbeing journey comes naturally to me, and I look forward to welcoming you for your next treatment.
