Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

Your appointments are very important to me. When you book, I reserve that time specifically for you. I understand that schedule changes are sometimes necessary, but when you cancel or miss your appointment, I lose the opportunity to fill that slot, and clients on my waiting list miss out on receiving treatments.

Appointment Reminders

You will automatically receive two reminders via text and/or email through my booking system (Fresha):

• 48 hours before your appointment

• 24 hours before your appointment

Making a Booking

A 100% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This fee will be applied to the total treatment cost once the appointment is fulfilled.

Rescheduling a Booking

• You can reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time, and your booking fee will automatically transfer to the new date.

• If you reschedule less than 24 hours before your appointment, the booking fee will be forfeited, and a new fee will be required to rebook.

• Appointments rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice can only be moved once. If rescheduled again, it will be classed as a cancellation, and my cancellation policy will apply.

Cancellations

• If you cancel more than 48 hours before your appointment, your booking fee will be held as credit on your account for 3 months. You can use this credit towards any new booking within this period.

• If no new booking is made within 3 months, the fee will be forfeited.

• Alternatively, you can request a refund, and the fee will be returned to you.

• If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, 100% of the treatment cost will be charged.

• However, if I am able to fill your cancelled slot, you will not be charged the full cancellation fee but will incur a £10 admin fee.

Failure to Attend (No-Shows)

If you fail to attend your appointment:

• Your booking fee will be forfeited, and the full cost of the missed treatment will be due.

• You will be unable to make any future bookings until the outstanding balance is paid in full.

Late Arrival

• If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your treatment time will be shortened, but you will still be charged the full treatment price.

• Some treatments cannot be shortened. In such cases, I may need to reschedule your appointment, and you will still be charged the full cost of the missed treatment.

• Please call or text me as soon as you realise you are running late. If I am with a client, leave a message or send a text.

• I reserve the right to charge a reschedule fee in these circumstances.

Exceptional Circumstances

I understand that unexpected situations can arise. I will always aim to be fair and use my discretion in genuine emergencies. If you need to discuss your appointment, please contact me in confidence.

Please Note:

• This policy applies to all clients, including family and friends.

• I don’t enjoy enforcing this policy, but as a self-employed therapist, it is necessary to protect my business and livelihood.
