Let me share a bit about my business and myself. This is my main job, alongside being a private carer on the Isle of Wight. As a mum of two, self-employment allows me to balance work and family while doing what I love. I work from home in Ventnor, transforming my lounge into a calm, welcoming space for a relaxed, home-from-home experience. Unlike a busy salon, this setup lets me take my time with clients. I also have a room in a Newport salon and offer mobile treatments across the island (depending on the service), bringing relaxation straight to you.
My logo has a special family touch. Wanting something unique but unable to afford a designer, I turned to my dad, a tattoo artist, for inspiration. He created the design, and my brother, a web designer, digitised it for me. Their input made it truly one of a kind.
For facial treatments, I use Charlie Locks, a natural and organic skincare range free from SLS, parabens, palm oil, and microbeads. Their cruelty-free products meet strict EU standards, and I love them so much that I became an approved stockist—so you can purchase them directly from me.
Running my business is a full-time commitment, from responding to messages to preparing for the week ahead. While I mainly offer weekday appointments, I occasionally open evenings or weekends when demand allows.

So how did I get into beauty & holistic treatments?
I first qualified in tinting and eyebrow shaping in 2013 but didn’t pursue it at the time. In 2019, I trained in Hopi Ear Candling, and my tutor inspired me to expand my skills. The beauty and holistic industry is always evolving, and I love learning new treatments, which is why I now offer a wide range of services.
As my passion for beauty and holistic therapies grew, I dedicated myself to further training through Jane Bryan Beauty Training. I studied multiple courses, including an in-depth Anatomy & Physiology course, balancing home study with practical exams and case studies. It was challenging but incredibly rewarding. My Swedish massages became so popular that I later trained in hot stone and pregnancy massage, allowing me to expand my offerings even further.
Running my business is a full-time commitment—I’m always replying to messages, preparing for the week ahead, and exploring new opportunities. I never truly close the door on personal development; there’s always something new to learn. I believe everything happens for a reason, even if it’s not what we expect.
I love empowering people, boosting their confidence, and making them feel their best. This journey has been natural for me, and I can’t wait to welcome more clients and help them feel truly wonderful.
